- Scope and Provider
1.1 These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts for online courses concluded via handsondataeng.com between Mohammed Al-Moayed (the “Provider”) and the student (the “Participant”). 1.2 By booking a course, the Participant agrees to these terms. Deviating terms from the Participant are not recognized.
2. Formation of Contract
2.1 The presentation of courses on the website does not constitute a legally binding offer but an invitation to order. 2.2 A binding contract is formed when the Participant clicks the order button and receives a confirmation email from the Provider.
3.Usage Rights and “Lifetime Access”
3.1 Upon full payment, the Participant is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the purchased course content for personal educational purposes.
3.2 Access Duration: The Provider grants access to the purchased course for the lifetime of the website.
3.3 Website Discontinuation: In the event that handsondataeng.com is permanently closed, the Provider will make a reasonable effort to provide the Participant with alternative access to the course content on a third-party platform (e.g., Udemy).
3.4 Contingency: This alternative access is subject to the Provider remaining reachable and having a valid record of the Participant’s original purchase and contact details.
4. Technical Requirements
4.1 The Participant is responsible for ensuring they have the necessary hardware and stable internet connection to access the digital content.
4.2 Technical disruptions on the Participant’s side do not entitle them to a refund.
5. Right of Withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht)
5.1 14-Day Period: Participants who are consumers have a legal right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
5.2 Early Loss of Right: If the Participant begins the course (e.g., by logging in and streaming videos) before the 14-day period ends, they expressly agree to the immediate performance of the service and acknowledge that they lose their right of withdrawal.
6. Liability
6.1 The Provider is liable for damages only in cases of intent or gross negligence.
6.2 The Provider does not guarantee specific career outcomes or financial success resulting from the data engineering training.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 All course materials, including videos, code snippets, and documentation, are the intellectual property of the Provider.
7.2 Any distribution, reproduction, or sharing of account credentials is strictly prohibited and may lead to immediate termination of access without refund.
8. Final Provisions
8.1 The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.
8.2 If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
